Easter Lilies

Ingredients

3 eggs

1 c. sugar

1 T. water

1 t. vanilla

1 c. sifted flour

1/8 t. salt

1 t. baking powder

Directions

Beat eggs until light and thick
Beat in sugar
Add water and vanilla
Sift flour before measuring - spoon into cup: flour, salt and baking powder
Fold all in together on lowest speed.
Grease and flour pans.
Pour into pans and bake at 375 degrees for 6 - 8 minutes.
Remove from pan and immediately pinch two sides together to form flower.
I use the Jiffy 7 minute frosting to frost.
Color some yellow, and create the stamen down the center.

Notes

Another family favorite handed down from Gran Jean. Make certain you shake off that excess flour! This requires little cake pans - hard to find, but you can improvise. I treasure mine from Jean!
